Happy international day of neighbours: Granny Square Bag Free Pattern With Tutorial

Hello world,

Today is the International day of neighbours. In Europe, we celebrate this date every last day of May.  The idea is bringing together people next door, but my special one is already inside my home, my life. She is part of my family. I can`t live without you, sweetie. Thank you for all.

I wish all of you could have a person next door like my special neighbour. I found this celebration a wonderful excuse to spoil my fave neighbour. So, I`ve made the perfect gift for her summer.
( She told me :-)

It`s an easy project and low cost. The final result is amazing and fits most of the Girls from 10 to 100 :-) yep...I swear!

All you need is to use your basic skills of crochet and find the perfect yarn. Mine is "trapilho" or polyester with nylon (I am not so sure), basically. I really don`t know the translation for this kind of yarn but instead of making two big grannies like I did, depending on what kind of yarn you will choose, make four or eight grannies as long you get a fashion and cool summer bag.

In the following pictures, you will find the tutorial in pictures of the hottest neon summer bag. A hot trend this summer!

Happy day, Happy weekend,

Flor

Step 1: Choose carefully your material. Ask your beloved one what kind of colour you should buy. Don`t spend money, time and energy with things that people don't want to.

Step 2: Make two simple grannies.

Step 3: Make all the rest of the pieces and start to put them together.

Step 4: The final result must be like that: An amazing neon summer bag measuring 30cm x 30cm. I hope you like this easy and quick project! Calling all beginners. Yes, you can!

Illustration: The Still Pretty Girl!

Thanks God is Friday:-)

Did I told you about my love for illustration? Oh, yes...I am a multifaceted woman:-)

Who said hair frames the face? Not in this blog, not with this young woman, fighting a breast cancer. From my point of view she can use my brand new design of make up using neon colors and a crocheted chic white flower in her bald head to become the prettiest girl on the block.

Take a look to the process:

1. I have a ritual to design and arranging all colored pencils by shade is the first step. In the meantime I can imagine, visualize what I am going to do.

2. Then I prepare only the material I will need at the moment.

3. Starting my "STILL A PRETTY GIRL"...

4...Finishing with a touch of chic crochet.

5. The Pretty Lady started to smile and said: "I really need to find a very nice frame".

6. I said: "Anyway, Still a Pretty Lady, with frame or without a hair frame".:-). Remember to fight cancer InStyle!

7. A close up to the chic crocheted white flower.

To all women in the world, fighting cancer now, I wish you all the best and get well soon with a flower in your beautiful bald head.

Still Smiling,
Flor

Fashion: One clutch, different looks!

Hello Dear,
My creative side looks like a crazy "why not" artist. A why not artist is somebody who is not a afraid of design and sew a clutch for a top executive woman who thinks the world is black and white....sometimes even grey. Well, I kept the black and the white side of her "really" busy days but she also accepted "some" stitched colors!

Here is the "single" Clutch, made with a discreet and chic black and white fabric.

I get the information about her love for Brazil. So
here is a crocheted brooch with colors of the
Brazillian flag.
But I want to keep the lady satisfied returning for some classic one: Black and silver brooch.
Another coming out of color for the sunny days.

For those days when she is feeling girly in a man´s world: put some rose on it!

Yes, she can...be sexy, too in a red light. I mean, the clutch. LOL.

For the 60`s look: Yellow and Violet.

She wants to preserve the planet: go green, Girl!

Definitely, she is a lucky girl: a boyfriend offers something unique and personalized made especially for you? Lovely man.

Dear Reader, please take a look and tell me what you think about it. She loved the clutch, according to her boyfriend. I love that kind of challenge, especially when the client is happy about it.

Post you soon,

Flor
